ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಹಕಾರ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ದಿನಾಂಕ 07-12-2001 ರಂದು ನೋಂದಾವಣೆಯಾಗಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 01-01-2002 ರಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ 16 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ 190 ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಕೃಷಿ ಪತ್ತಿನ ಸಹಕಾರ ಸಂಘಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ರೈತರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಸಾಲ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಸಹಕಾರ ಸಂಘಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ 14 ಶಾಖೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಕೃಷಿಯೇತರ ಸಾಲಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ರೈತರ ಮತ್ತು ಜನತೆಯ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ನೆರವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸಂತೋಷದ ವಿಷಯ.

2017-18ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಒಟ್ಟು ರೂ.146.00 ಲಕ್ಷಗಳ ಲಾಭವನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಶೂನ್ಯ ಬಡ್ಡಿ ದರದ ಅಲ್ಪಾವಧಿ ಬೆಳೆ ಸಾಲವನ್ನು 2018-19ನೇ ಸಾಲಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಪಾವಧಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಸಾಲ ರೂ.290.00 ಕೋಟಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮಾವಧಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಸಾಲ ರೂ.10.00 ಕೋಟಿಗಳ ಸಾಲ ನೀಡುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಖೆಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕಛೇರಿಗಳ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋರ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿಂಗ್‍ಗೆ ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
